Storm All-Star Cheerleading chosen as National All-Star Program of the Year.
Storm All-Star Cheerleading in Sanford North Carolina has been named as Cheer Ltd.s National All-Star Program of the Year. The owners are Lisa & Scott Pace and Greg & Anita Hearn. The gym is under the leadership of Head Coach and Director Shannon Smith. The coaching staff also includes Barry Moody, Carol Jones and Amanda Smith. The National Selection Committee, a group of college coaches and cheerleading experts notified the team of their selection on March 29, 2007.
Preliminary evaluations are based on a nomination process followed by an application process which includes a comprehensive portfolio of accomplishments, team unity, and endorsements.
Storm will attend the National Cheer Conference on May 17-20 and will be honored throughout the weekend for this prestigious award. The National All-Star program of the year award was established in 2004 to recognize the nations most talented teams and programs.
